1. you don&#039;t turn in your geek card.  You&#039;d turn in your geek card if you used linux just to use linux, rather than using the right tool for the job.

2. windows has had virtual desktops since XP.  It just isn&#039;t part of the native install.  For XP there was virtual desktop manager (a power tool).  For Vista, there&#039;s some third party apps.  I would imagine they&#039;ll work with 7 as well, and if not, should be updated shortly to do so.</description>
