An observation….
by Jesse on Feb.15, 2007, under General, Non-Storage
Stupid people can’t help being stupid – they’re born that way. They go through life living in complete oblivion of the damage they are doing along the way.
There is no cure for stupid. It’s the #1 leading cause of “Hold my beer and watch this…” deaths in the world.Â
My only fear is that due to modern safety standards, more and more often they are dying AFTER they reproduce and send stupid-spawn into the world.
I think I’m going to lobby congress to repeal all laws requiring safety warnings on packaging and indemnify all manufacturers of such productions of any liability.

LOL – to both.
I don’t hate the idiot who got the job I was aiming for, it’s not his fault he’s an idiot. I do however blame the higher-up who can’t see that.
And yes, our network guys have all had to go out to the CEO’s house to fix various “issues” including installing AOL on their PC’s.

Nice to have skills, isn’t it? I haven’t been unemployed since 1992.

Oh, and add me to the list of people that were on a first name basis with his CEO’s family, after having been to his house so many times to fix his VPN connection.

I got laid off in May of 2001 from MTI Corp, (back before they were an EMC partner, back when they were still making 12th rate RAID hardware). I went back to EMC (as a Professional Services Partner) soon after. I stretched out the time between the two jobs because I really hadn’t had much of a vacation.
Fixing a VPN connection I can respect…..even more than once. I *STILL* have problems with mine, but that’s not saying much because I’m using a Cisco beta for Vista.
